workings of the engine 4 stroke (four steps)

Why called a 4 stroke engine, because there are 4 steps. following his way of working ...

1. Intake / suction
Called step intake / suction as the first step is to suck through the piston from the carburetor. Fuel supply is not enough just from the spray carburetor. The way it works is as follows. First piston at the top position (or so-called Dead Point Up / TMA). Then the piston sucks fuel already be set / mix of gasoline and air in the carburetor. The piston then suck back the fuel. To open, required valve or inlet valve which opens when the piston down / sucking downward.

Movement is governed by the inlet valve or a mechanical camshaft. Namely, camshaft valve opening amount set by pressing the valve lever. Own camshaft driven by a chain connected between keteng crankshaft.beberapa camshaft to European cars like Mercedes use the chain as a liaison between the crankshaft and camshaft, but generally in the Japanese car uses a belt that we know as the timing belt.

2. compression
This step is a continuation of the above steps. Once the piston reaches the lowest point in the intake stage, then the intake valve is closed, and do the compression process. Namely, the existing fuel in the combustion chamber is compressed. The room was sealed because the two valves (intake and exhaust) is closed. This process continued until the following steps the explosion plugs in step 3.

3. Combustion (combustion)
The next stage is the spark plug at some point it will explode after REACHING POINT MOVING PISTON AND BACK OFF A FEW DEGREES ABOVE. Thus, spark plugs do not explode when the piston at the top point (called a point of 0 degrees), but the piston back up, just exploded. This is because to avoid the energy wasted because by the time the piston at top dead point, there is still latent energy (stored as a result boost the compression process). If at the point of 0 degree spark plug explodes, it could be but crank crankshaft the piston back toward the rear (motor backwards, instead of turning the wheel to the front).
After the combustion process, the piston has the energy to drive the crankshaft that will be channeled through the gearbox and sprocket, chain, and finally to the wheels.

4. Exhaust (Disposal)
The final step is performed after combustion. Due to combustion piston will be pushed to the point of the bottom, or so-called Bottom Dead Point (TMB). After that, the piston will push forward and open the exhaust valve while the intake valve is closed. Therefore, the exhaust gas will be pushed into a hole Exhaust Port (or we say the connection to the exhaust hole). Thus, we can discard all the rest of the exhaust gases from burning. And after clean again, then we will go back to repeat step 1 again.
